SUMMER NIGHTS 2021

From Saturday July 10th and for seven Saturdays until August 21st, Brugnato 5Terre Outlet Village will host the Festival Summer Nights at 9.00 pm: seven exclusive and unmissable appointments with live music, poetry and theater. And, on the occasion of all performances, the Center will be open until 11.00 pm.

The protagonist of the first three nights will be the actor, author and theater director Roberto Alinghieri who will entertain the audience with some suggestive performances.

On Saturday 10th, the Summertime show will be a real tribute to the saxophone, which was born as an instrument for military bands and then becomes an essential element for many musical genres such as jazz. During the night, an alternation between the words of Raymond Carver and Charles Bukowski with the music of George Gershwin, Scott Joplin and many others performed by the Exclusive Saxophone Quartet.

On July 17th Caro Lucio Dalla, a tribute to one of the most innovative and versatile interpreters of Italian song with the magic of his music which ranges from soul to rhythm & blues.

On July 24th, the protagonist will be Il pranzo di Babette, the story by Karen Blixen from which the famous film awarded with the Oscar as best foreign film in 1988 was based. For this appointment Alinghieri will read some amusing passages from the book, interspersed with live music by Stefano Cabrera (cello and keyboards) and Flavia Barbacetto (vocals) who will perform pieces that have made the history of Italian music by Mina, Giorgio Conte, Enzo Jannacci, Giorgio Gaber and many others.

From July 31st, Jazz will be the protagonist with four exclusive evenings dedicated to this musical genre which fascinates with its magical atmospheres.

The first appointment is with the show Sulle note di Louis Armstrong, starring the music of one of the most famous jazz musicians of the twentieth century masterfully performed by Fabio Boltro, Lorenzo Cimino and the Tigullio Big Band.

On Saturday August 7th, the unmissable appointment with the precious voice of Rossana Casale, who, along with the Rossana Casale Ballads Duo project will enchant the audience with a piano-voice concert on the notes of the pianist Luigi Bonafede.

On August 14th, the nights will be dedicated to one of the legendary names of international jazz with the Omaggio a Michel Petrucciani, curated by the brother of the famous French pianist, Philippe, who will perform with the Philippe Petrucciani Trio feat. Dominique Di Piazza.

The show A ritmo di Jazz europeo, starring the Piero Gaddi Trio and the Norwegian jazz guitarist Bjorn Vidar Solli, will close the Festival on Saturday August 21st.

All the concerts are free. To attend them and to have a seat in the stalls , you only have to collect a ticket at the info point of Brugnato 5Terre Outlet Village. A simple procedure that will ensure interpersonal distancing between spectators in compliance with all the safety rules that regulate, in this period, the conduct of outdoor shows.
